AIR FRYER — HOW TO USE IT SO IT IS BENEFICIAL FOR YOU
Today we will talk about being oil free and how beneficial that is. So in that connection, air frying is one of the ways that is pretty important. A nice good way to cook food but if the air fryer is bad for you depends how you use it.
Are air fryers good? Yes they are, if you use them the way I’m going to now describe because you can be oil free and still use an air fryer. But for example: if you want to air fry wedges of cabbage or some other cruciferous crunchy vegetable you should fill the bottom pan with water so that with the heated water, steam can come up and help keep the food moist without edible oil.
We have an air fryer and I actually enjoy it. I think if you were going to use an air fryer or you’re going to get an air fryer, I would suggest getting one of the better technology air fryers like Breville. There are several that are fine but inexpensive air fryers turn out to be not a good bargain and I think this illustrates what’s true about our kitchen. I’m would say it’s better to have a few utensils and enjoy. For example: air frying together.
There’s one more extension I believe, which is, you can have a steam oven and an air fryer. I don’t I think need it, I rather like the results of the air fryer for things like cabbage wedges and carrots, sweet potatoes and yams. I do find it beneficial every about five minutes to pull back the basket that contains whatever you’re air frying and squeeze onto it some lime juice or some herbs that you have mixed with something like apple cider vinegar so that you can moisten the food.
It takes about 15 minutes in my experience to do things like cabbage, broccoli and the like. You can have a lot of fun with an air fryer, but it’s an art form and I think it’s worth investing in better utensils and therefore having more capacity to do interesting, elegant, little yummy things that are nutritious and delicious, oil free and also sugar-free. They also come out delicious, not just cooked, delicious. So, an air fryer is the option depending on how you use it.
